Abstract:

A lithium ion secondary battery which meets the requirement [1] of satisfying the formulae (a) to (c) or the requirement [2] of satisfying the formulae (b), (d) and (e), wherein A (μm) represents the average particle diameter of a positive electrode active material, B (vol.%) represents the volume concentration of a fluorinated ether contained in a non-aqueous electrolytic solution, and C (m2/g) represents the specific surface area of the positive electrode active material: (a) 5 ≤ A ≤ 25; (b) 10 ≤ B ≤ 60; (c) 40 ≤ 2A+B ≤ 90; (d) 0.2 ≤ C ≤ 1.2; and (e) -80 ≤ 200C-3B ≤ 150.
