Abstract:
A battery according to the present invention is provided with an electrode body that comprises a positive electrode and a negative electrode. The positive electrode has: a positive electrode core body; a positive electrode active material layer which is formed on the surface of the positive electrode core body; and a positive electrode tab part which is provided with a core body exposed part where the positive electrode active material layer is not formed on the surface. An end of the positive electrode active material layer is provided with an incision. The outer edge of the incision includes an end of the boundary where the positive electrode tab part and the positive electrode active material layer are in contact with each other.
