Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to prevent a deterioration in current detection accuracy occurring as a result of a difference in a degree of degradation between a main MOS and a sense MOS. This load driving device is provided with: a main MOS (101) for feeding a load current to a load; a sense MOS (102) used to detect the load current; and an equalizer circuit (110) and a switch (120) provided in parallel between the source terminal of the main MOS and the source terminal of the sense MOS. The drain terminal of the main MOS and the drain terminal of the sense MOS are connected in common, and when the current is being detected, the terminal voltage of the main MOS and the terminal voltage of the sense MOS are equalized by the equalizer circuit and the switch is opened, and when the current is not being detected, the equalizer circuit is stopped, and the source terminal of the main MOS and the source terminal of the sense MOS are short-circuited by the switch.
