Abstract:
A local area wireless communication apparatus is provided with: at least one antenna 110; at least one transmission-reception unit 210 that performs wireless signal transmission and reception via the antenna; a storage unit 400 that holds country-specific wireless parameters set in the transmission-reception unit; and a setting unit 300 that acquires, in the case where there are a plurality of countries on a movement path to a destination to which the local area wireless communication apparatus or a mobile device in which the local area wireless communication apparatus is installed is to move, the wireless parameters of the respective countries on the movement path from the storage unit on the basis of information regarding the movement path, selects a wireless parameter common to the plurality of countries from among the acquired wireless parameters of the respective countries, and sets the wireless parameter in the transmission-reception unit.
