Abstract:
A location method and apparatus, a system, a computer readable storage medium, and a chip. The location method comprises: a location apparatus locating a road sign, and identifying an identifier of the road sign (401), the road sign being one of at least one road sign on a planned path of the location apparatus; the location apparatus determining a location of the road sign according to the identifier (402); the location apparatus acquiring an actual location (403); and, having located the road sign, the location apparatus calibrating an actual location (404), the calibrated location being the same as the location of the road sign in a two-dimensional plane, and the two-dimensional plane comprising the planned path. In the present solution, a road sign point is set on the planned path of the location apparatus, so that the location apparatus quickly calibrates its own location, which can effectively reduce the accumulation of errors during a moving process of the location apparatus.
