Abstract:
The present invention reduces the occurrence of a shock when depressing and operating the accelerator from a state of coasting. An engine-equipped vehicle provided with a torque converter (4) having a lock-up clutch (3) and positioned between the engine (1) and a continuously variable transmission (6), the engine-equipped vehicle being further provided with a fuel-cut control unit (11a) and a CVT control unit (12). The fuel-cut control unit (11a) prevents fuel injection to the engine (1) while in a coasting state caused by removing the foot from the accelerator, and resumes fuel injection on the basis of fuel recovery permission. The CVT control unit (12) performs a coordinated control comprising a lock-up release control for reducing the clutch engagement capacity of the lock-up clutch (3) and a shifting control for shifting the transmission. In addition, when the accelerator is depressed and operated during coasting while the lock-up clutch (3) is engaged, the lock-up release timing and the shifting timing are offset from one another.
