Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications, and provides a logical channel (LCH) grouping method and a communication apparatus. The present application can improve the uplink scheduling efficiency and the uplink capacity. The method comprises: a terminal device determines that buffer data to be reported exists in a first LCH, and according to a preset configuration rule and the buffer data to be reported of the first LCH, sends a buffer status report (BSR) to a network device, wherein the BSR indicates a first data volume and a first logical channel group (LCG), the first data volume corresponds to the first LCG, the first data volume comprises a data volume of first data, the buffer data comprises the first data, and the first LCG is one of LCGs configured for the first LCH. A remaining data packet delay budget (PDB) of the first data is within a first remaining PDB range, or the priority of the first data is within a first priority range, and the priority of the first data is determined according to the remaining PDB of the first data and the data type of the first data.
