Abstract:

A long-object guide device (11) has a multi-joint support member (13) wherein a plurality of link members (25) are arranged serially in such a manner that adjacent link members (25) are connected to each other so as to be capable of pivoting relative to each other, and the multi-joint support member (13) is configured so as to be permitted to bend to a predetermined radius (R) in a first direction, which is a direction intersecting the series direction, and so as to be prevented from bending in a second direction opposite the first direction. The long-object guide device (11) protects and guides a flexible covered wire (15). The long-object guide device (11) has an end. The long-object guide device (11) is provided with an affixation member (14) which can be affixed to a counter-member while being connected to the link member (25) of the plurality of link members (25), which corresponds to the end of the long-object guide device (11).
