Abstract:
The invention relates to a longitudinal cutting device comprising a cutting mechanism that is arranged between an insertion (11) and a discharge (15), said cutting mechanism having circular shears (220.1, 220.2, 220.3), which can be moved transversely to the transport direction, with upper blade carriers (221.1, 221.2) having in each case an upper circular blade (223) and with lower blade carriers (222.1, 222.2) having in each case a lower circular blade (225). Furthermore, the lower blade carrier (222) comprises a transport device (240) which seizes the material to be cut in the area of the cutting mechanism with a conveying effect.
