Abstract:
A loudspeaker-based alert system and method, in the system: when an elevator in a high-rise building in a city in which an elevator alarm platform is located malfunctions, the elevator alarm platform (101) sending, by means of the Internet of Things, location information and the building name of the high-rise building in which the malfunction has occurred as well as the names of streets surrounding the high-rise building in which the malfunction has occurred to an outdoor loudspeaker monitoring platform (102); when the outdoor loudspeaker monitoring platform (102) determines that a target loudspeaker device (103) which is in a working state is present on a street comprised in said street names, the outdoor loudspeaker monitoring platform sending an elevator malfunction alert message, which comprises the location information and the building name of the high-rise building at which the malfunction has occurred, to the target loudspeaker device (103) by means of the Internet of Things; the elevator alarm platform (101) deducting a service fee which is directly proportional to the number of times malfunctions have occurred from an electronic account which is bound to the high-rise building in which the malfunction has occurred; the target loudspeaker device (103) outputting the elevator malfunction alert message. The system and method may, by means of a loudspeaker device, make those elsewhere aware of an elevator malfunctioning in a high-rise building in a timely manner, thus preventing danger to the lives of those trapped.
