Abstract:
A LTE RRC connection reestablishment request method, a cause value setting method and a terminal are provided by the present invention, the connection reestablishment request method includes: the LTE terminal judging failure cause is one of the following four causes according to present scene: wireless resource failure, handover failure, underlying layer error and terminal relevant error; and the LTE terminal initiating the RRC connection reestablishment request to network side, in which the RRC connection reestablishment request includes failure cause value indicating failure cause. With the present invention, the network side could obtain the cause that the UE initiates the RRC connection reestablishment, and so as to perform various subsequence operations according to these various failure causes.
