Abstract:
Provided are a lubricating oil composition for drive system equipment having a low friction coefficient as well as excellent copper corrosion resistance and containing (A) a base oil, (B) a sulfur-containing compound, and (C) a molybdenum-containing compound, in which the content of molybdenum atoms in terms of the total weight of the composition is more than 0.05 mass% and the content of sulfur atoms in terms of the total weight of the composition is from 0.16 mass% to less than 0.26 mass%, a method for producing the same, a method for lubricating drive system equipment, and drive system equipment.
