Abstract:

A luminescence device according to the present invention is provided with: a first light source and a second light source; a first main surface and a second main surface that face each other; a light guide plate that has a first end face facing the first light source and a second end face facing the first end face and also facing the second light source; a prism sheet that is disposed so as to face the first main surface; and a reflective sheet that is disposed so as to face the second main surface. The light guide plate has, in the first main surface or the second main surface, a plurality of first inclined surfaces that are each formed so as to make the light guide plate thinner in a first direction from the first end face to the second end face; and a plurality of second inclined surfaces that are each formed so as to make the light guide plate thicker in the first direction and that are formed alternately with the first inclined surfaces in the first direction. The area ratio of the plurality of second inclined surfaces is increased as the distance thereof from the second end face increases, in a predetermined range from the second end face.
