Abstract:
The present invention is a luminescent compound represented by formula (1) or a salt thereof. (In formula (1), k represents 0 or 1; at least one of X and Y represents an optionally substituted heterocyclic group containing a nitrogen atom or a sulfur atom, or a group represented by formula (2); the other one of X and Y is selected from among a nitro group, an optionally substituted amino group, an optionally substituted alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an optionally substituted heterocyclic group containing a nitrogen atom or a sulfur atom and a group represented by formula (2); M represents a hydrogen atom, a metal ion or an ammonium ion; and m represents an integer from 0 to 2. In formula (2), * indicates the bonding position of X or Y in formula (1); Z is selected from among an optionally substituted phenyl group, an optionally substituted naphthyl group, an optionally substituted stilbene group, an optionally substituted benzoyl group and an optionally substituted heterocyclic group; and t represents an integer of 0 or 1.)
