Abstract:
Water is slowly added to dry cereal grains which have been regulated beforehand so as to have a water content of 10 to 15%, at a rate of 0.5 to 2.0% per hour in such an amount as to result in a water content of 20 to 30%. These grains are introduced into a tank and tempered for 2 to 15 hours.
