Abstract:
A machine for improving the soil comprising a main frame (7) having a predetermined length and a width, a pair of carriages (16) mounted near both ends in the direction of width of the main frame, a machine body constituted by a power unit mounted on the other end portion in the lengthwise direction of the main frame, a disintegrating mixer (A) mounted on the central portion of the main frame and having a charge port (34) in an upper portion and a discharge port (35) in a lower portion, a belt conveyer (D) mounted on said main frame so as to protrude from the lower part of discharge port of the disintegrating mixer beyond an end portion in the lengthwise direction of the main frame, a soil hopper (70) having a discharge port (74) opposed to the charge port of the disintegrating mixer, a soil feeding device constituted by a rotary soil feeder (71) rotatably provided on the bottom of the soil hopper and which permits the excavated soil in the soil hopper to fall through the discharge port by its rotation, an improving material feeder (90) which is partly overlapped on an upper portion of the soil hopper and permits an improving agent to fall and to be fed into the soil hopper, and an up-and-down expanding improving agent hopper (91) mounted on an upper part of the improving material feeder.
