Abstract:
A machine tool for machining a work by relatively moving a tool and the work has a bed (13), a column (15) installed upright on the bed (13), and a carriage (27) having supports (27a, 27b) swingably supporting a table (35) on both of the sides of the carriage. One support (27b) of the supports (27a, 27b) is arranged adjacent to the column (15), and the other support (27a) is arranged distant from the column (15).
