Abstract:
A machine tool suitable for machining two faces of a workpiece, said machine tool having a main spindle device that grasps the workpiece by a main spindle chuck, a drive device that moves a tool with respect to the workpiece grasped by the main spindle chuck, and a control device that controls driving the main spindle device and the drive device and that determines the actual number of uses corresponding to a preset maximum number of uses of the tool, on the basis of information of the number of uses for the tool used for machining a workpiece and machining face information pertaining to a first machining face and a second machining face of the workpiece.
