Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a machined article having a finely dimensioned slit machined with good precision, and a press-machining method capable of readily machining a finely dimensioned slit with good precision. [Solution] A machined article (100) characterized in that: the machined article (100) is provided with a first member (101) including an internal peripheral section (101a) formed by a hole, and a second member (102) including an external peripheral section (102a) fitted into the internal peripheral section (101a) of the first member (101); an internal peripheral concave section (101b) is formed in a portion of the internal peripheral section (101a) of the first member (101), and/or an external peripheral concave section (102b) is formed in a portion of the external peripheral section (102a) of the second member (102); and a slit (103) that passes from the obverse surface through to the reverse surface in a position corresponding to the internal peripheral concave section (101b) or the external peripheral concave section (102b) is formed between the first member (101) and the second member (102).
