Abstract:
A machining head (100) comprising a turret (104) on which a plurality of rotary tools (T) are attached, wherein the head is configured so that the rotation of each of the plurality of rotary tools and the rotation of the turret are performed by one motor (140) during machining. Specifically, the head is provided with a switchable turret rotation transmitting mechanism (150, 158, 194, and the like) that transmits the rotation of a motor shaft (148) to the turret as rotation of the turret and that can cancel the transmission. The head is highly practical because the rotation of each of the plurality of rotary tools and the rotation of the turret are performed by one motor during machining.
