Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magnetic bearing device for supporting a roll shaft, and more particularly to a magnetic bearing device for supporting a roll shaft in a contact-free fashion by using a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. The magnetic bearing device for supporting a roll shaft of the present invention comprises: a magnet for generating a magnetic field in a projecting part formed facing towards the roll shaft; and a body part for supporting the magnet in one direction. The roll shaft is supported while an air space is formed between the roll shaft and the projecting part, and both sides of the projecting part are rounded.
