Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a magnetic bearing device of which an initial adjustment is simple and optimal bearing control can be performed by a simple algorithm without increasing the memory capacity of a control device. [Solution] A pair of squarers (32xp, 32xm) and an adder (33) acquire the steady-state values (Ip, Im) of a pair of electromagnets that pull a rotor shaft of a magnetic bearing (not shown) in opposite radial directions, and respectively square and add the values together. To optimally vary the current of the electromagnets in accordance with the attached orientation of the magnetic bearing, a correction coefficient computation device (35) calculates a correction gain command value (Kcomp), to be applied to the electromagnets, from the squared and added current steady-state values (Ip^2 + Im^2). A gain command value (G), obtained by adding the correction gain command value (Kcomp) to the basic gain (Kctrl) of a control circuit of the electromagnets, is then inputted to a gain amplifier (38). The gain amplifier (38) creates a corrected current command value and optimally controls the magnetic bearing on the basis of the gain command value (G).
