Abstract:
This ring-shaped magnetic encoder is acquired by mixing a rare earth magnet powder and a resin, compressing the mixture to make an unheated body, and then heat-curing the resin included in the unheated body to make a heat-cured body, and comprises a magnetic track in which magnetic poles different from each other are magnetized at a prescribed pole pitch along the circumferential direction. When the thickness of the unheated body is denoted by T (mm), the maximum particle size of the rare earth magnet powder is denoted by G (μm), and a ratio R is defined as T/G, the ratio R is 6.67 or more, and the particle size of the rare earth magnet powder is 45-150 μm.
