Abstract:
The present invention relates to a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus and a control method thereof and, more particularly, to a technique for accurately detecting a position of a target object for magnetic resonance imaging and providing an image for guiding a position adjustment of a target object. A magnetic resonance imaging apparatus according to an embodiment includes: an input unit for receiving a command related to magnetic resonance imaging; and a display unit for displaying a magnetic resonance imaging region for the target object, wherein the display unit displays a reference line for the position of the target object and displays a scale for guiding the position adjustment of the target object.
