Abstract:
In order to comply with imaging conditions and reduce deterioration of image quality due to static magnetic field heterogeneity without increasing operator workload: a shimming current that reduces the static magnetic field heterogeneity of a selected region is determined; the selected region is shimmed using the determined local BO shimming current; and the irradiation phase increment (RF-Phase) or the post-adjustment excitation frequency (f0'), which is the excitation frequency, of the RF pulse that excites the selected region is determined when the static magnetic field heterogeneity of the selected region is reduced. The irradiation phase increment (RF-Phase) and the post-adjustment excitation frequency (f0'), which is the excitation frequency, are quantities that correspond with each other.
