Title:
MAGNETISM MEASUREMENT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/136975
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A precise, high-sensitivity magnetism measurement device (10) is provided. Said magnetism measurement device (10) comprises the following: a magnetic amorphous material (46, 48) comprising a solid or a liquid that exhibits magnetic anisotropy; a conductive wire (42, 44) that is positioned near the amorphous wire (46, 48) so as to apply a current-inducing magnetic-field vector that has a component perpendicular to a direction in which the amorphous wire (46, 48) is easily magnetized; and a magnetic-field-detecting coil (50, 52). Current is run through the conductive wire (42, 44) repeatedly, and an emf generated in the coil (50, 52) is detected and used as an output signal. Thus, the amorphous material (46, 48) generates a magnetic field on the basis of the current run through the conductive wire (42, 44), said magnetic field generates an emf in the coil (50, 52), and said emf is measured in order to detect magnetism.
