Abstract:
Provided is a magneto-restriction-type torque sensor which suppresses the slippage along a central axis of a coil wound around a coil bobbin, and a rotation shaft, and controls changes in the magnetic properties of a yoke, and thus can improve torque detection accuracy. The magneto-restriction-type torque sensor is provided with: a rotation shaft (1) which is rotatably mounted to the inside of a cylindrical structure (2) and which has a magneto-restriction effect section (10), the magnetic permeability of which alters according to the torque applied; a cylindrical-shaped coil bobbin (3) which is arranged so as to be concentric with the rotation shaft (1) and so as to be estranged from the magneto-restriction effect section (10) in the radial direction; a coil (4) which is wound around the outer periphery of the coil bobbin (3) and which is for detecting magnetic permeability; and a yoke (5) which is attached to the outer periphery of the coil bobbin (3) whereon the coil (4) is wound. Therein, a positioning protrusion (30) is formed on the coil bobbin (3), said protrusion touching the structure (2) and retaining the position of the coil bobbin (3) within the structure (2); and the yoke (5) and the structure (2) are provided in a non-contact manner.
