Abstract:
The invention relates to a male portion of a tag for tagging an animal, including a rod (14) ending in a tip (18). According to the invention, such a male portion includes a removable cap (30) including a recess suitable for receiving at least said tip, and a retention means enabling said tip to be rigidly connected to said cap (30) such that a user must exert a force on the cap (30) in order to release the tip (18).
