Abstract:
[Problem] To effect a minimization of computation resources used in an information processing system. [Solution] Provided is a management device 100 which acquires configuration information and performance information relating to each information processing device 101 from a host OS executed by a plurality of groups, and stores same in a storage unit for each of the plurality of groups. On the basis of the configuration information and the performance information which the storage unit stores for each of the plurality of groups, the management device 100 selects for each group a to-be-migrated VM that is to be migrated from the group in question to which the selected VM belongs to another group. The management device 100 assesses whether a performance value of a service associated with the to-be-migrated VM would meet a predetermined reference value if the to-be-migrated VM were migrated to the other group. If it has been assessed that the reference value would be met, the management device 100 determines that the to-be-migrated VM should be migrated from the group in question to the other group.
