Abstract:
Provided is a manufacturing method that enables efficient manufacturing, by draw-out molding, of a thermoplastic resin complex containing a thermoplastic resin and fibers. In a manufacturing method according to an embodiment: a thermoplastic resin formation composition containing an active hydrogen component and a diisocyanate component is continuously impregnated into fibers 10; after the impregnation, the foregoing is allowed to pass into a heat molding unit 30 for polymerization of the thermoplastic resin and for molding a thermoplastic resin complex 12; and the thermoplastic resin complex 12 is continuously drawn out from the heat molding unit 30. In such case, the heating temperature of the heat molding unit 30 is set lower than the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin so that the thermoplastic resin complex 12 drawn out from the heat molding unit 30 is made to be in the glassy state.
