Abstract:
A map area contour setting method and a robot edge end control method. The robot edge end control method comprises: a robot sets a plurality of unit areas to be edged by means of executing the setting method; then, the robot walks along an edge in a working area (S302); when the robot walks through all the unit areas, the robot stops walking along the edge (S306); and when the robot repeatedly walks through the same batch of unit areas, the robot stops walking along the edge (S307), wherein the same batch of unit areas are a preset number of unit areas which are different from each other, and the number of unit areas set by the setting method is greater than the preset number.
