Abstract:
A map display device where the user can easily recognize a one-way road. The map
display device is, for example, a navigation device and has display means, one-way
road determination means, and drawn object display means. The display means
displays map information on a display screen. The one-way road determination
means determines, based on link information of the specific road, whether a specific
road displayed on the display screen is a one-way road. When it is determined
that the specific road is one-way traffic, the drawn object display means displays,
based on the link information, a drawn object that directs the advance direction
on the entire part of the specific road in a superposed manner. This enables the
user to easily recognize the one-way road.
