Abstract:
A map processing method and system, and a self-moving device. The method comprises: acquiring a first map and a second map, the first map being generated first and the second map being generated later (S101); according to contour lines respectively included in the first map and the second map, generating a comparison result of the first map and the second map; wherein the contour lines comprise a contour line of a partition boundary included in a corresponding map, and/or a contour line of an internal obstacle included in the corresponding map (S102); according to the comparison result, the second map and the first map, generating a target map (S103). In this way, a map processing process can be performed in a more targeted manner, problems such as a boundary in a map being fuzzy and the map having a great error that are present when a map is processed and updated in an overlay update manner can be effectively prevented, errors during processing can be reduced, and a target map having relatively high precision is obtained.
