Title:
MARINE TURBINE DEVICE FOR PRODUCING ELECTRICITY
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/114001
Kind Code:
A8
Abstract:
The invention relates to a marine turbine device for producing electricity using river and marine currents. It is made up of a structure (51) provided with tubes (56) (57), and dynamic buckets (63) (62). The device comprise modules (66) with balanced drive (67), which modules (66) have flaps (93) and are engaged by the means (64) with the rotors (58) (59). The modules (66) via one of the flaps (93) form stealth blades (72). The modules (66) are also engaged in the tubes (56) (57) and constitute a recirculation ring (91). This marine turbine is able to recover energy from river and marine currents, in medium and shallow depths, and with fast-moving to moderately slow currents. This device is able to drive an electricity generator.
