Abstract:
A measurement device 10 for measuring biological information by contacting a measurement site with a contact part 16 is equipped with a light source 21 for emitting a measuring beam, a light-receiving unit 22 for receiving scattered light from the measuring beam from the measurement site, a biological-information generation unit 18 for generating biological information on the basis of the output from the light-receiving unit 22, and a control unit 17. Furthermore, the control unit 17 makes it possible to emit the measuring beam from the light source during a prescribed time interval.
