Abstract:

A mechanical seal device capable of sealing a special liquid such as a chemical, easily mounted to a device, and compact in size. A mechanical seal device (1) is provided with a seal cover (30), a first sealing ring (3) provided on the inner peripheral side of the seal cover (30) so as to be movable axially, a second sealing ring (10) secured to a rotating shaft (70), a spring (9) provided on the inner peripheral side of the seal cover (30) and pressing the first sealing ring (3) in the direction to the second sealing ring (10), and a bellows (5) provided on the inner peripheral side of the seal cover (30) and mounted between the seal cover (30) and the first sealing ring (3) so as to be stretchable axially. The spring (9) is mounted to the seal cover (30) in the axial direction in which the bellows (5) stretches and contracts.
