Abstract:
A circulation pump mechanism 30 of a mechanical sealing device 1 comprises: a rotor 31 formed with mounting grooves 31c; vanes 32 provided in the mounting grooves 31c that are able to move in and out of the rotor 31; a plurality of biasing members 33 provided in a space S1 on the far side of the vane 32 in the mounting grooves 31c and biasing each vane 32 in the protruding direction; a housing 34 having an inner circumferential surface 35b that is eccentric with respect to the outer circumferential surface 31b of the rotor 31 and along which the tips 32a of the vanes 32 slide; a pump chamber 38 compartmentalized between the outer circumferential surface 31b of the rotor 31 and the inner circumferential surface 35b of the housing 34, ahead of the tips 32a of the vanes 32 in the direction of rotation of the rotor 31; and communication channels 45 formed in the rotor 31 and communicating with the pump chamber 38 and the space S1 in the mounting grooves 31c.
