Abstract:
Provided is a mechanism for raising and lowering window glass capable of achieving a favorable assembly by visual verification of the assembled status of a guide rail drum housing without special means such as providing a viewing window in the drum housing and capable of reliably regulating relative motion in the vehicle width direction of the guide rail and drum housing after assembly.
A front-back wall that extends toward the front and back of a vehicle is formed on the end on the drum housing side of the guide rail. On the end on the guide rail side of the drum housing, a pair of clamping holding parts is formed that projects, toward the guide rail, from an abutment face abutting the guide rail front-back wall on the drum housing side edge and a side of the abutment face and that clamps and holds the front-back wall on both sides in the vehicle width direction. When viewed from the vertical direction, the pair of clamping holding parts for the drum housing covers only a portion of the guide rail front-back wall on the drum housing side edge in the circumferential direction.
