Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a canister configured to be capable of releasing the airtightness of the canister interior to easily open a lid portion and allowing easy removal of a containment bag stored inside the canister, and a medical aspirator having the canister. [Solution] A canister includes: a canister body that contains a containment bag capable of holding waste fluid; a lid portion that opens/closes an opening opened in a part of the canister body and includes a flush hole for releasing negative pressure inside the canister; and a flush mechanism that includes a lever attached so as to be rotatable around a fulcrum on the lid portion and a biasing material disposed in the lid portion to bias one end of the lever in the direction away from the lid portion, wherein when a force applied to the one end of the lever is released, the other end of the lever pressure-seals the flush hole, thereby keeping the inside of the canister airtight.
