Abstract:

[Problem] The objective is to provide a medical assistance system capable of sharing a medical image through a network even in a case of mutually remote locations in any kind of line conditions, and in which bidirectional interaction is possible. [Solution] The system is a medical assistance system (1) which allows mutual bidirectional communication through a network between one server (2), which is bidirectionally connected through the network with one terminal (4), and another server (3), which is bidirectionally connected through the network with another terminal (5). The one server (2) and the other server (3) are each provided with a conference processing unit (6, 13) which performs a conference between the one terminal (4) and the other terminal (5), an image sharing processing unit (7, 14) which allows the one server (2) and the other server (3) to bidirectionally share an image, and a control unit (10, 17) which performs overall server control via the network. The control unit (10) of the one server (2) transmits only operating information sent from the one terminal (4) to the control unit (17) of the other server (3), and the control unit (17) of the other server (3) performs control on the basis of the received operating information.
