Abstract:
A medical connector according to the present disclosure is equipped with: a channel pipe section which can be inserted into the insertion opening of a locking female connector conforming to ISO80369-7; a connection pipe section equipped with a female screw part which can be screwed onto the tip end flange of the female connector, and covers the periphery of the channel pipe section in the radial direction; and an elastic valve body located inside the connection pipe section and capable of changing between a closed state which covers the opening of the channel of the channel pipe section on the distal end side thereof, and an open state for opening said opening. Therein, the female screw part is equipped with a valley part which screws onto the tip end flange, and has the tip end flange inserted therein in a contact state in which the elastic valve body contacts the edge section of the insertion opening of the female connector.
