Abstract:
The present invention provides a medical device with which it is possible to detect the state, including at least the position, of a capsule endoscope despite having a simple configuration. This medical device (1) has: a capsule endoscope (2) having a permanent magnet (20) built in; a magnetic sensor array (3) in which a plurality of magnetic sensors (30) capable of measuring the magnetic flux density from the permanent magnet (20) are arranged laterally and longitudinally; and a processor (4) for executing an inverse problem analysis program (40a) on measurement values measured by the plurality of magnetic sensors (30) and thereby establishing a detection value for the state, including at least the position, of the permanent magnet (20).
