Abstract:
The present invention relates to a medical image display device and a medical image processing method. The medical image display device comprises: a display unit for displaying a first medical image obtained by photographing an image of an object including at least one anatomical entity; and at least one processor for extracting reference area information corresponding to the anatomical entity from at least one second medical image which is a reference image of the first medical image, detecting an area corresponding to the anatomical entity from the first medical image on the basis of the extracted reference area information, and controls the display unit such that the detected area of the anatomical entity is displayed to be distinguished from an area which does not correspond to the anatomical entity. Thus, the present invention allows distinctive displaying of an anatomical entity which is not been identified in a non-contrast medical image in the prior art. Therefore, the present invention allows a lymph node tracking test with respect to even a patient on which a contrast medium is difficult to use, allows an early diagnosis of various diseases, and can further improve the accuracy of a diagnosis.
