Abstract:
The medical image information system according to an embodiment of the present invention is configured from a terminal device connected via a network, and a medical image processing server for performing image processing on the basis of a request from the terminal device and transmitting results of the image processing to the terminal device, the medical image processing server is provided with a medical image storage unit in which a medical image is stored, and an image processing unit for generating a display screen and display screen information from the medical image and transmitting the display screen and display screen information to the terminal device on the basis of a request from the terminal device, and the image processing unit has a speed reduction determination unit for determining a setting item relating to wait processing for reducing the timing of sending results of image processing on the basis of one or both of medical-image-related information and the state of connection to the terminal device, and a speed reduction processing unit for performing wait processing for reducing the timing of sending the display information on the basis of the setting item.
