Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to enhance the diagnostic performance of a bullseye map. This medical image processing device has a storage unit, an extracting unit, a normalizing unit, a generator, and a display. The storage unit stores three-dimensional function image data relating to a cardiac functional indicator. The extracting unit extracts a myocardial region from the three-dimensional function image data. The normalizing unit normalizes the distance between an inner wall and outer wall of the myocardial region over a given range of values. The generator generates a bullseye map for expressing, as two-dimensional polar coordinates, the spatial distribution of pixel values of positions on the myocardial region as correspond to a predetermined value within the given range of values is. The display displays the bullseye map.
