Abstract:
A medical manipulator (1) is provided with master units (11A, 11B) and treatment instruments (2A, 2B). The master units (11A, 11B) are respectively provided with memory parts (115). The memory parts (115) store corresponding information between respective input mechanisms (111, 112) of the master units (11A, 11B) and respective points (211, 212, 221, 222) of the treatment instruments (2A, 2B). When the master units (11A, 11B) and the treatment instruments (2A, 2B) are connected to a controller (15), the controller (15) stores the information in the memory parts (115) in a corresponding information storage part (152). In the case where the corresponding information correlates a button (112) with a knife part (221), when an operator (Op) pushes the button (112), the controller (15) supplies a high-frequency current to the knife part (221). Since the memory parts (115) are disposed not in the treatment instruments (2A, 2B) but in the master units (11A, 11B), the information in the memory parts (115) can be surely transmitted to the controller (15) even though blood, a body fluid, etc. sticks to the treatment instruments (2A, 2B).
