Abstract:

A medical stapler is provided with a driving section (5), an anvil (11), and a forming plate (8). A staple (12) is driven out of the driving section (5). The anvil (11) is provided above the driving section (5) and supports from below the center part (12a) of the staple (12) in the left-right direction. The forming plate (8) is disposed above the anvil (11) in a vertically movable manner. A pair of legs (20) which protrudes downward is provided to the forming plate (8) on the left and right sides of the lower end thereof. A forming groove (21) is formed between the pair of legs (20). Weak sections (25, 26, 33, 34) which enable the legs (20) to deflect in the left-right direction are provided to the forming plate (8).
