Abstract:
It is intended to provide metal compositions having capability as a substance Z, which is scarcely capable of removing active oxygen radical by itself but promotes the effect of removing active oxygen radical in case of coexisting with an active oxygen radical scavenger, and having high capability of removing active oxygen. The above object is achieved by providing metal compositions capable of removing active oxygen characterized by comprising one or more metals selected from among gold, platinum, silver and copper. These metal compositions are widely applicable products which are expected as being usable for various purposes as materials for cosmetics, drugs, health foods and common foods.
