Abstract:
A metal-supporting nonwoven fabric is provided which enables efficiently synthesizing a target substance when used as a flow reaction catalyst. This metal-supporting nonwoven fabric includes metal particles and a nonwoven fabric that includes polyolefin fibers or PET fibers, and is characterized in that grafted side chains configured from a polymer that comprises polyvinylpyrrolidone, polyacrylic acid or a functional group having an unshared electron pair are bonded to the nonwoven fabric, and in that the metal particles are supported on the grafted side chains via a pyrrolidone group of the polyvinylpyrrolidone, a carboxyl group of the polyacrylic acid, or the functional group having an unshared electron pair.
