Abstract:
Provided is a method for adjusting an imaging device, wherein the position of the imaging element is set to an initial position, a uniform luminance surface is imaged, luminance distribution on an imaging surface is calculated, whether luminance distributions at the four corners of the imaging surface substantially match or not is determined, and such operations are repeated until the luminance distributions substantially match by moving the position of the imaging element by a predetermined value. The center position of the imaging element can be adjusted in a short time by using, as center positional information, the imaging element position obtained when the luminance distributions substantially matched, and an image having natural luminance distribution can be obtained.
